Ireland’s first-ever Grand Effie winner

We at Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin were thrilled to announce that our ‘The World’s Strongest Women’ campaign, which we developed for Allianz Ireland and Women’s Aid, earned us the Grand Effie. To cap off an already proud achievement, we also landed Gold in the Finance & Insurance Services Category and Gold in the Media Content & Partnership/Sponsorship Effectiveness Category.

The win was a milestone moment for us – it’s the first time an Irish agency has been awarded a Grand Effie, putting a spotlight on our work on the global Effie stage.

‘The World’s Strongest Women’

At Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin, we developed a campaign that uses the tropes of sport advertising to flip the narrative around gender-based violence and highlights that, for women in that situation, survival is a sign of strength not weakness.

The jury awarded the top prize to the campaign because of its proven effectiveness for Women’s Aid and for the Allianz brand, with the work demonstrating a clear insight and strategic approach that paved the way for the highest standard creative output.

Jane Madden, Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin’s Strategy Director, summarised the agency’s excitement at winning such a prestigious award. “At Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin, we are committed to creating the best work in the world, which, by definition, has to be the most effective work in the world. 'World's Strongest Women' empowers survivors to seek help, by showing them that they are stronger than they think.

We're incredibly proud of our client partners in Allianz and the transformative impact of our work with them. This Grand Effie proves, once again, that great work that attracts positive change in the world can also deliver growth for business. And that is the true mark of the best work in the world.”
