Joining the Collective

What being part of Forsman & Bodenfors looks like

April 2024 – In the Company of Huskies becomes Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin following an acquisition by the global collective that is one of the most creative agencies in the world.

Excited? You bet we are. It provides us a new platform to amplify our already strong strategic, creative and digital skills – to give us new opportunities to continue making ‘the best work in the world.’ Overnight we’ve gone from being a major player in the Irish market to being part of a creative collective with a deep global footprint.

All change has its challenges, however. Our first hurdle was learning how to pronounce Forsman & Bodenfors correctly. It took a little time, but we got there, and being part of Furshmonn and Bodenfosh has been a very successful exercise in global collaboration.

It is a worldwide collective that has benefitted all the agencies and clients alike.

We have gone from an agency of 50 people to an agency with the experience, knowledge and talent of over 450 people – who work in eight offices on three continents and across multiple time zones. That’s a lot of people with more than 100 Cannes Lions between us effectively thinking about the needs of their clients around the clock.

A deep digital DNA

For the wider collective, the acquisition of In the Company of Huskies means bringing into the fold an agency with a deep digital DNA earned over two decades as Ireland’s leading digital agency.

For 20 years we have combined behavioural science with creativity, and have successfully integrated social, search, tech, development and content services. Forsman & Bodenfors were quick to recognise that this blend not only enhances brand allure in our digital era but also fosters deep customer connections for a diverse B2C and B2B international client base.

This unique approach is now increasingly utilised across the collective, which in turn adds to the power of the offering.

‘Radical collaboration’

A key principle of the Forsman & Bodenfors is a flat, hierarchy-free working style and approach that is dubbed ‘radical collaboration.’ We’ve seen this in action from the outset, as offices come together to work on joint pitches, sharing responsibilities across specific areas including strategy, digital and creation.

Our monthly ‘All Collective’ meetings allow us to share work that we are proud of with other offices in the collective. Our portfolio is stacked with collaborations with the likes of Allianz, Slack, Nissan, Smurfit Kappa, Guinness Storehouse and Fáilte Ireland, and our long list of awards was most recently burnished when we became the first Irish agency to win a Grand Effie, for our work with Allianz Ireland and Women's Aid on 'The World's Strongest Women.'

Other offices can share their work in turn, which reinforces the sense that we are now part of one of the best creative agencies in the world.

There is nothing quite as satisfying as a relationship that is mutually beneficial.

Being part of the collective marks an exhilarating new chapter in our journey. As Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin we have been able to access the resources that allow us to continue making the best work in the world. Joining a collaboration-focused network like Forsman & Bodenfors opens up unparalleled opportunities for our people, our clients, and our agency as a whole.

We’ve enjoyed the journey so far, but we’re even more excited about where it will take us.
